Asian Style Hot Pot Dinner


According to Wikipedia,

Hot pot (also known as steamboat in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, China and Brunei), refers to several East Asian varieties of stew, consisting of a simmering metal pot of stock at the center of the dining table. While the hot pot is kept simmering, ingredients are placed into the pot and are cooked at the table. Typical hot pot dishes include thinly sliced meat, leaf vegetables, mushrooms, wontons, egg dumplings, and seafood. The cooked food is usually eaten with a dipping sauce. Hot pot meals are usually eaten in the winter during supper time.

Iced Coffee

Fancy Iced Coffee with Cream in a GlassOk, so anyone who knows me, knows I am a big fan of iced coffee. My local Dunkin Donuts loves me! They know my exact order! 🙂 Iced Latte, extra Snickerdoodle (in season, otherwise caramel), skim milk! Oh so good! Even when I’m working from home, I am usually running out in the morning for my DD!

However, I have learned from one of Ree Drummond’s blog posts, how to cold brew coffee. This helps cut the bitter flavor and is really good also.

Chicken Paprikash with Dumplings

So I woke up early this morning and jumped on Facebook to check out the latest. I’ve got to admit, most of the recipes I try come from others sharing them on Facebook.
